we’ve had absolutely gorgeous weather here yesterday evening..the heat and humidity have disappeared, so me and Mr. Hubby decided a little outdoor play was in order for our Sunday off of work, so it's been a while since I've taken my Little Miss Danieya to the zoo. It was on 2009, we went to Malacca zoo, but not yet visits in JB. and I haven’t been to visit since I was 12 with friends.
still remember that time, when we went there, we're very disappointed. there is untidiness filling all the area. the outer animal areas were very muddy, and the enclosures in poor condition. some cages were empty and appeared to have been that way for some time, and there was no explanation as to why. there's no eating area and the lake was untidy and not at all welcoming.
but yesterday, it surprises us.. the attraction and we had a lovely time. as well as the animals, there was great play equipment, which the Little Miss Danieya really enjoyed and didn't want to leave. the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the animals. a great small animal park in a unique setting with a little bunny inside there that we can feed them. they also had a short animal show here.. =)
overall i think JB Zoo is a great place to visit and the entrance fee is very cheap compared to other zoo. I would definitely recommend it..
