i squeaked by on this one… down to the wire. that is where i usually work best though. at my company i am the “situation worker” for critical situations and events. i work well under life threatening pressure. it’s my best place. so i just called dad and slipped it into my conversation with him.. it went like this: “i want you know that i love you… and mom very much… thank you for everything you do for me…” it was a “drive by”.. i admit that. but it’s a start for me. i will continue to express it so that it becomes more meaningful than the way i just did it. i will make another goal about this and work that.
well due to father’s day.. i wanted to talk more about my father.. my hero is my dad. i think a hero is someone that you respect and is always there for you in good times and also bad times. my hero does a lot for me. even when i get mad at him he still does things for me. my dad risked his life for me lots of times and saved my life and always took care of me when i had cuts or i was sick. i love my dad for being there for me through my stupid teenage drama.he’s amazing and i hope to have him in my life for many many more years even i’m a marry daughter now. when my dad reads this i want him to know that i love him. i think that there should be more heroes like that.

1. your sense of humor. it’s funny. it’s sarcastic. it’s dry. and i inherited it.
2. you’re the coolest! there are many types of dads out there (geek dads, working dads, old dads) but more than anything you are and always have been a “cool dad.”
3. you apply your own unique style to everything you do (singing in the car, fashion, Costco shopping trips) and you don’t care what anyone else thinks about it.
4. you taught me all about music and have been taking me to rock n’ roll shows for as long as i remember.
5. people love you. and i’m no exception. my friends, your friends, family. you’re one popular guy and that makes you lovable.
6. you’re my biggest fan (tied for first) and show it even from 2,000 miles away.
7. you still think you’re my boss even though i’m 29 and married.
8. you spent a lot of $$$ on me as a kid/young adult. thanks for everything.
9. my hubby and i have the best. time. ever. every. single. time. we hang out.
10. you’ve not only accepted Ahmad Ismail but welcomed him in to our family almost as one of your own. that means a lot.
i wish i could be there to hang out with you on father’s day. instead, u’re not very well in health but at least we’re having our fun talk and good times! happy father’s day, Papa!
