it goes around

life is, to put it quite simply—completely unpredictable. not many people coming with helpful solutions though. maybe that's a business minded thing, a stubborn mindset that says, "how can i fix this, solve this, turn this into something amazing? how can i help this person? what can i do to be part of the solution?" it is much more difficult to roll up your sleeves, and use your mind to figure out how something can be done, than it is to say, "you lost, you were wrong, you get what you deserve."
i think that's what surprised me the most, is people's lack of compassion, or rather, people's unbridled hatred and desire to see someone fall. those people should be ashamed of themselves because "what goes around comes around". who knows that they may not be the next to make bad decisions and fall with everyone pointing the finger, shouting insults, and no one to lend a helping hand or kind word.
this is about karma. this is about humanity. this is about the doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. i help because i have been in bad situations due to poor decisions on my part, and people stepped in with compassion to help me. not to make excuses, but to lend me a hand or encouraging word because it was the kind thing to do.
it's one thing if people will not take responsibility for their actions, but it's a whole other deal when they do. just think about it "what goes around comes around". what you put out there will come back to you, for good or bad. we aren't responsible for other people, we are only responsible for ourselves and our actions.

someday we'll know,
